Washing and recycling rigid HDPE-PP plastics

Storage and prewashing
The storage process is a key step in the management of rigid HDPE and PP plastics destined for recycling. We ensure that this activity is carried out with the utmost care and attention, preserving the quality of the material for subsequent stages of the plastic recycling process.
Next, the stored materials undergo an initial washing stage, which can be performed with water-based systems or via dry cleaning, depending on specific needs. This pre-treatment ensures the effective removal of contaminants, preparing the plastics for advanced processing within our plastic recycling plants using high-efficiency plastic scrap washing and drying machines.
Friction washing
Unlike conventional systems, our innovative washing and recycling system for rigid HDPE and PP plastics uses a unique friction process. This method self-generates heat through friction, eliminating the need for external water or steam heating systems.
Our system efficiently removes a wide range of impurities, such as organic waste, glue, aluminum, wood, oil, adhesives, printing inks, and even lingering odors. Everything is done without the use of additional machinery or chemical additives, making our process highly sustainable and high performing.
Drying
Our rigid plastic recycling machinery is designed to completely remove residual moisture from materials, enabling levels of less than 1 percent to be achieved. This significant reduction in moisture not only decreases energy and operational costs in later stages, but also secures excellent homogenization of the material, which is critical for high-quality HDPE and PP recycling.
