Water treatment plants for plastic recycling
We design and manufacture hydronic units for industrial wastewater treatment specifically for plastic washing lines, enables optimization of water consumption and reduction of environmental impact.

TARGET RECYCLING
Advanced efficiency for water treatment in recycling plants
Our recycling water treatment plants consist of several technological sections:
- Wastewater pumping station
- Self-cleaning rotary screen, located downstream of the primary discharge pipe
- Automatic polyelectrolyte preparer
- Chemical reagent dosing station, for the insertion of PAC (Polychloride of Aluminum) and soda ash
- Floater for sludge separation.
Water from plastic washing is treated through a process that involves precipitation of colloidal substances, coagulation with polyelectrolyte, and finally sludge separation by flotation.
LINES
Advanced technologies for industrial recycled water purification
Recy Technologies’ industrial wastewater treatment plants optimize water recovery, improve purification efficiency and guarantee a sustainable process, reducing waste and operating costs.
With integrated filtration, chemical regulation and biological oxidation systems, our solutions are perfectly suited to the needs of any plastics washing and recycling plant.
Separation and filtration of materials
Wastewater is conveyed to a collection tank, from which it is pumped into a heavy materials separator and then into the disc screen, that removes settleable solids above the size of the filter screens.
Chemical regulation and flocculation
Filtered water is transferred to chemical dosing tanks, where flocculants are added.
At this stage, the following are carried out:
The dosing of iron sulfate and sodium hydroxide for pH correction. In the biological tank, the pH must be corrected automatically to develop bacterial flora.
The addition of the polyelectrolyte to improve coagulation.
The adjustment of BOD5 and nitrogen needed for the biological process.
Biological oxidation and sedimentation
The process of biological oxidation of organic carbon takes place in a tank oxygenated by blowers and air diffusers.
From the reaction tanks, the flow, through a centrifugal pump, passes to the sedimenter, where separation between water and sludge takes place.
The activated sludge is partly recycled to the biological tank and partly discarded.
The purified water is finally discharged into the sewer system, in accordance with environmental regulations.
